KNON Blues Festival 2011 on January 29 & 30
The 12th Annual KNON Blues Festival takes place this year on Saturday and Sunday January 29th and 30th at Poor David's Pub [1] in Dallas. This is the longest running Blues Festival in North Texas and it is sure to be another great one. Our sponsor again this year is Red Hot & Blue BBQ [2] so you know the food will be great!
The KNON Blues Festival is one of the year's premier Blues events showcasing some of the incredible Texas Blues talent. The only bad thing is that we only have two days and can't feature all of the local artists we play on KNON. That would take a week or more! But some of the best will be gracing the stage at Poor David's this year so make plans now to be there on January 29th and 30th.
Advance tickets are available now online at KNON.org [3] (PayPal) or at Forever Young Records [4] in Grand Prairie, Bill's Records [5] in Dallas, and at all Red Hot and Blue BBQ [2] locations. Get your tickets in advance to make sure you get a seat! We've sold out at the door the last couple of years.
For updates and on-air appearances by many of the performers featured at this years Blues Festival, tune in the Texas Blues Radio shows (Mon-Fri 6-8 PM), Blue Lisa's Big Texas Blues (Thu 9-12 AM), and Gregg Smith's Radio Blues Review (Fri 9-12 AM) on KNON 89.3 FM or online at KNON.org [3].
Hope to see you at Poor David's Pub [1] on January 29th and 30th. It's going to be another memorable Blues Festival.
Keep on resonatin'!
